Between the tried and true, and our communities supporting the new ideas we have to offer, there is the possibility of struggle. We contend with ourselves—moving forward at a fast pace, quicker than we anticipated, how freedom can turn into regrets.
Bottling up your emotions is bottling up your finances. Your feelings aren’t you, but how you deal with them is 100% reflective of your self-worth. How do you feel about money? Does the thought of being rich excite you? Are you excited at the thought of money, or is it the distance of your dreams? Are you punishing yourself?
It's surprising when great leaders question themselves. For the average person, doubt is a recurring obstacle. We assume that celebrated men & women must have something special about them. Maybe it's an unusual capacity for enduring hardships. Or another ability that other people are lacking.
Gratitude doesn’t have stipulations. That’s appreciation. When you’re genuinely grateful for the things in your life, there is no, “yeah, but this or that.” Seriously, get over yourself, recognize you’re the creator of your journey, get that chip off your shoulder and move on.
Grief is poison to a creator. It slowly seeps away our power, like siphoning a gas tank. Just when we believe that we've rehabilitated from a perceived loss, there it is again. A black cloud to rain on our parade, a melancholic downpour to drown away any attempt to celebrate life.
Many of us can't stand being alone. As a matter of fact, it's the leading cause of mindless diversion. Still, we need to be independent; expecting others to carry our baggage is debilitating. That's why it's in our best interest to examine our minds and figure out what keeps our peace intact.
